They are called Neocons A Neocon is someone who claims to be a fiscal and social conservative yet spends like there's no tomorrow. George Bush is a Neocon. Treason in the White House Dick Cheney or someone in the White House deliberately exposed the identity of an undercover CIA agent. This is called Treason. Cheney's Chief of Staff, Lewis Libby won't tell who did it. And no one is prosecuting these felons. They should get life in prison for this. The United States has a history of executing people convicted of treason. No Teacher Left a Dime In addition to its underfunded mandate known as No Child Left Behind, Bush and the neocons have taken away teachers' tax deduction for classroom expenses. It's bad enough that teachers have to pay for classroom materials out of their own pocket. Now they are being punished for it. Leader of Bush's Religious Right Calls for Assasination On a broadcast of the "700 Club," Pat Robertson, the founder of the Christian Coalition and a former Republican presidential candidate, made the following statement about Hugo Chavez, the President of Venezuela, "If he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think we really ought to go ahead and do it. It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war. We have the ability to take him out and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability." Robertson finally apologized, after he denied saying Chavez should be killed. Bush Boy Senator Norm Coleman lies to cover his lies Bush lied to the American people about going to war in Iraq. Bush's friend Ahmed Chalibi, a convicted embezzler, played a key role in helping Bush lead us to war. After the fall of Baghdad, Bush rewarded Chalibi by putting him in charge of the new government. Chalibi returned the favor by creating fake documents showing that opponents of Bush's war profited from oil sales under Sadaam Hussein. Bush Boy Senator Norm Coleman of Minnesota, using this fake evidence, charged British Parliament memmber George Galloway with profiting from oil sales. Galloway shreds Coleman and the Bush Administration in this response: Coleman lies and Galloway responds Buy Blue Find out what that company is doing when you buy stuff from them. It's time to cut up your MBNA card and stop shopping at Walmart. Quote the Bible to help the poor, not cut their services. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. - Psalm 82:3-4 Tax cuts for the rich, spend, spend, spend. Bush cut taxes for the rich in a time of war. This has never been done before. He also likes to spend. Bush has grown the government by 13%. The Bush deficit is $500 billion (you can't count Social Security, but Bush does). We haven't had record deficits since Ronald Reagan was President ($325 billion). There goes another one of those Hollywood Conservatives What the hell are we doing in Iraq? No one can explain to me in a reasonable manner that I can accept why we're there, why we went there, and why we're still there - Conservative Actor/Director Mel Gibson When will the US get out of Iraq? We got to find out that there are no weapons of mass destruction. Vice-President Dick Cheney's corporation got a big no-bid contract (what happened to free market capitalism?). The bill to US taxpayers will be many hundreds of billions (not even close to the earlier $200 billion estimate). Our brave troops are stuck in a terrible situation in Iraq, and they won't be home soon. The Corporate Media ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, NBC and Clear Channel all supported the war. Clear Channel's CEO organized pro-war rallies. Although many (like FOX and Clear Channel) are unapologetic about their conservative, Corporate approach, some at least try to appear to be balanced. Those who opposed the war should be glad they have the right to express their opinions. It's too bad the Corporate Media doesn't feel the same way. |
