Bush McCain Economics: Privatize Profit, Socialize Loss.
The latest bailout of the rich will cost taxpayers 700 billion, added to the hundreds of billions already charged to us (AIG was only 85 billion). This is the effect of 25 years of rich people economics. Other names for it are Reaganomics, supply side economics, Voodoo economics, and the trickle-down theory of economics. Stay tuned for the Great Depression II.

Read my Lipstick. Vote for Obama.

The John McCain of 2000 wouldn't vote for the John McCain of today
Democratic Party Chair Howard Dean on the transformation of John McCain from "maverick" to Neocon.

When will the US get out of Iraq?
The Republicans lied us into a war, Dick Cheney's corporation got a no-bid contract, our troops have been forced to do multiple extended tours of duty, and the Iraqi government has asked us to leave. Irag has a 79 billion surplus, and the Bush McCain Republicans still won't tell us what happened to 12 billion dollars in cash the American taxpayers sent to Iraq. The cost of Iraq to US taxpayers is 12 billion a month, the total cost of the war will be in the trillions of dollars (Bush said 250 million). John McCain has said that it's okay with him if we are there for another 100 years. A vote for McCain is a vote for more of the same.

Tax cuts for the rich, spend, spend, spend.
Bush cut taxes for the rich in a time of war. This has never been done before. McCain wants to do it again. They also like to spend. Bush and McCain have grown the government by 13% (almost double Clinton's 8%). The Bush McCain deficit is a record 500 billion. They have more than doubled the national debt to over 11 trillion in just 8 years (we should be bankrupt any day now). We haven't had deficits like this since Ronald Reagan's record 325 billion deficit. Jimmy Carter's was 78 billion, Bill Clinton had a 200 billion surplus

Treason in the White House
Dick Cheney or Karl Rove deliberately exposed the identity of an undercover CIA agent. This is known as treason. Cheney's Chief of Staff, Lewis Libby won't tell who did it. And no one is prosecuting these felons. They should get life in prison for this. The United States has a history of executing people convicted of treason.

No Teacher Left a Dime
In addition to its underfunded mandate known as No Child Left Behind, Bush and the Neocons have taken away teachers' tax deduction for classroom expenses. It's bad enough that teachers have to pay for classroom materials out of their own pocket. Now they are being punished for it.

Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman lies to cover his lies
Bush lied to the American people about going to war in Iraq. Bush's friend Ahmed Chalibi, a convicted embezzler, played a key role in helping Bush lead us to war. After the fall of Baghdad, Bush rewarded Chalibi by putting him in charge of the new government. Chalibi returned the favor by creating fake documents showing that opponents of Bush's war profited from oil sales under Sadaam Hussein. Bush Boy Senator Norm Coleman of Minnesota, using this obviously fake evidence, charged British Parliament member George Galloway with profiting from oil sales. Galloway shreds Coleman and the Bush Administration in this response: Coleman lies and Galloway responds

Quote the Bible to help the poor, not cut their services.
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. - Psalm 82:3-4

There goes another one of those Hollywood Conservatives
What the hell are we doing in Iraq? No one can explain to me in a reasonable manner that I can accept why we're there, why we went there, and why we're still there - Conservative Actor/Director Mel Gibson

The Corporate Media
ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, NBC and Clear Channel all supported the war. Clear Channel's CEO organized pro-war rallies. Although many (like FOX and Clear Channel) are unapologetic about their conservative, Corporate approach, some of the Corporate Media at least try to appear to be balanced. Those who opposed the war should be glad they have the right to express their opinions. It's too bad the Corporate Media doesn't feel the same way.
